Homecare Assistant

Reports to: Service Manager
Location: Devon & Cornwall

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Homecare Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their homes, assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will have a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to maintaining dignity and respect for those those they care for.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assisting clients with daily activities, including personal care.
– mobility, meal preparation, and medication management
– Providing companionship and emotional support
– Assisting with household tasks and promoting a clean, safe living environment
– Monitoring clients’ health and well-being, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals
– Following individualised care plans and working closely with healthcare teams to ensure excellent care delivery

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is available for the right candidate)
