Providing quality, reliable and person centered care and support in your own home is what we do best.
Finding the right option for care is a challenging task. A number of studies have shown that person-centered care at home has a greater positive impact on well-being, happiness and reduced hospital admissions than admission to a care home.
Care at Home offers flexibility and the ability for service users to be able to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own home. Smeaton Healthcare offer packages of care ranging from shorter 30 minute visits to 12 hour sits.
Our Care at Home packages can be tailored to your specific needs and desires. As part of your care package, a dedicated member of our team will visit you to complete a no-obligation, free assessment to find out exactly what you want for your care and/or support.
At this point, we will be able to find out if you feel you would benefit from shorter visits throughout the day or a dedicated team member to spend longer duration’s of the day with you. We understand that at times, you may just want some companionship or a little help around the house – that’s why we will explore every little details at assessment stage to ensure your package of care is bespoke to you.
It is important to us that our service users are in control of the care they receive. However, if you’re unsure what you may need – our team of professionals can help discuss the options available to you.
We are here for you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our extensive experience in this field enables us to assist with a smooth transition for people of all ages, from hospital care to home care. While dealing with the many complexities associated with the management of complicated medical conditions, including the court and compensation processes which ultimately lead to the appointment of our supportive homecare teams.
Our Complex Care packages begin with a minimum 6 hour visit per day but can increase to a full 24 hour day. Depending on your requirements, we will tailor a package of care that best suits you (or you loved one). We will conduct a comprehensive assessment with you to discuss the fine details of your care, what you require and the outcomes you want to achieve.
What is Live-in Care?
Live-in Care is the complete and holistic alternative to residential care. When the care and support needs exceed around 6-8 hours a day, it may become necessary to have someone present in the house throughout the day and night to provide that reassurance and a helpful presence. Often this can prove a very cost-effective way to be supported by comparison to hourly care.
Staying at home with treasured memories is the choice that we believe everyone should have and our aim is to make this possible. We hope that we are able to provide you with the solution you need and deserve.
Common Live-In Care Tasks:
All-round friendly companionship (reading the newspaper, playing games)
Support with outings (grocery shopping, hospital appointments, walks)
Help around the house (laundry, vacuuming, dusting)
Home-based activities (cooking and baking, gardening)
Support at social events (clubs or church services)
Personal hygiene (assistance with getting washed and dressed)
Health (support with medications)
Personal administration (help with forms, letters and paying bills)
Live-in care is provided for individuals who need help throughout the day and sometimes at night. Live-in carers will live their lives alongside their clients in their homes and will be on hand to assist with every area of everyday life.
If you or someone you know will benefit from Live-in Care, contact us today for a free, no-obligation chat.
